Verb vaya

  1. First-person singular (yo) present subjunctive form of ir.
  2. Formal second-person singular (usted) present subjunctive form of ir.
  3. Third-person singular (él, ella, also used with usted) present subjunctive form of ir.

Interjection vaya

  1. Expresses surprise: Wow!, Why, Oh!, Whoa!, Well!, Man!, Boy!
  2. Expresses dismay, worry, indignation or frustration: Gee!, Jeez!, Gosh!, Why, Man!, Oh dear!
  3. (before a noun) What a ...

  4. (colloquial, at the end of a sentence) you know, like, y'know
